This year’s SGIA Expo redefined the meaning of success for specialty imaging, and we’re proud to say that Virtual Systems software was on exhibit for the 3rd year in a row. With a focus on wide format printing equipment and software, over 23,000 attendees poured through the Atlanta trade show floors during the first week of November.
Virtual System’s president, Chris Huber, is enthusiastic about this particular market segment, commenting that “wide format printing is one of the fastest growing market segments, and every day we’re seeing new customers adding this to their overall service mix. The best part is how we see this segment of the market maturing as printers seek out new systems for managing their business.”
With Midnight, its flagship product for printers and mailers, Virtual System systems is committed to driving its software further into the wide format printing industry. The Cost Plus and Square Foot Matrix tools that were added this fall give wide format printers the capabilities of estimating and invoicing jobs with a streamlined user interface that minimizes up-front work and allows invoices to be created with less time and hassle than ever before.
Whether attendees were walking through exhibitor booths or towards a ticketed educational session in the enormous GWCC hall B, the conversation was pumped up about the newest technology, applications and innovation available on the jam-packed show floor.
